Currently, four paintings from the "Oneironaut" series are on display in Hauerland's Hybrid Gallery in Fraunberg in the Erdinger district and are presented online. Of course, they can also be purchased via the gallery's website.
I was very pleased about the offer from curator Peter von Hauerland, who does a wonderful job presenting my paintings and offering them a wonderful platform.
Peter approached me a few weeks ago and asked if I would be interested in working with him and exhibiting in his gallery. His gallery near Fraunberg is in a very idyllic location, with a panoramic view of the Erdinger Land, and his exhibition rooms with large windows connect the exhibition with the nature outside. It is a wonderful place to let painting take effect!
I also thought Peter's concept of the Hybrid Gallery was great! I know how important it is to have an online presence these days. Or to put it another way, what a great opportunity a good online presence can be!
I increased and expanded my presence on the Internet some time ago, although I still like to go to exhibitions and markets. Personal contact is important to me online too. I don't act hidden behind a website or write about myself in the third person. I also want people to meet me personally online, as if they were entering my studio. This means I can now reach my customers worldwide, and one or two pictures have now made their way to another continent. That is definitely a very nice feeling for me and of course it encourages me to do so.
And this is exactly the concept that Peter is pursuing with the Hybrid Gallery. He has created a wonderful environment to give artists a space. Personal videos, interviews and blog entries ensure that you learn more about the work and the artist - currently about me and my work. With a lot of effort and commitment, Peter tells the stories of his artists and lets anyone who wants to take part take part - easily accessible online and at any time!
